Halal Ramen Series
“I want everyone to be able to eat delicious ramen, regardless of their religion or beliefs.”
This series was born from the thoughts of Mr. Kiyoshi Kurihara, the owner of RAMEN IROHA.
At the "Iron Chef" event held at Plaza Senayan in Indonesia, he served a collaboration ramen with Mr. Kenichi Chen, a Sichuan cuisine chef who served as the Iron Chef of Ramen, and RAMEN IROHA started developing halal ramen products. They are pursuing and providing products that have the quality and convenience of ramen and can be stored for a long time, such as completing two types of halal raw noodles that were certified by the Nippon Asia Halal Association in November 2021.
Obtained Halal certification from NPO Nippon Asia Halal Association (NAHA)
NAHA is an organization with a large number of certification records that issues Halal certifications for food, accommodation facilities, restaurants, cosmetics, etc., which are audited by experts in each field.
NAHA has mutual certification with MUIS in Singapore, JAKIM in Malaysia, and CICOT in Thailand.
The reason for starting this association was the experience of the founder and director, Dr. Saeed Akhtar, who had difficulty eating food after coming to Japan and losing 13 kg.
They work as a bridge to deepen the bond between Japan and Islamic countries, by providing support for Japanese companies to expand their Halal efforts, and providing free audits and certifications to university cafeterias and national institutions.
NAHA has confirmed that this product does not contain any prohibited ingredients and has been processed in a facility that guarantees Halal properties.
